Tour/talk – Overview of hand silk screen printing & studio tour. Covering practical set ups (backyard screen printers tips and tricks), design translation, colour separations, repeats, screen exposure, registration, meterage printing, placement printing, heat setting.

Hands on – Print your own 5 colour tea towel

Take away – Step-by-step guide + your printed tea towel.

Also available – Textile inks, tea towel blanks, screen printing supplies.

Bring – Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty & closed in shoes.

About Mark Cawood

At the age of 18 Mark Cawood discovered the intricate art of hand silk screen printing. For the next 10 years Mark developed his skills working with prominent Australian icons including Billabong and The Florence Broadhurst Collection. Publisher was started by Mark in 2002 and he has never looked back. With over 20 years printing experience he has a wealth of technical knowledge and hundreds of backyard screenprinting tips and tricks. Always happy to talk shop, Mark loves sharing his technical know how and neat little tricks he has learned over the years.
